Delaware – February 25, 2025 – NAMI Delaware proudly launched the 2025 NAMIWalks season with an inspiring Kick-Off Event on Tuesday, February 25th. For the first time since the onset of COVID-19, the event welcomed attendees both in person and virtually via Zoom, creating a dynamic and inclusive atmosphere.
The event featured special guest Miss Delaware 2023, Noa Mills, who brought her voice and passion for mental health awareness to the celebration. Kay-Dean Hayden, NAMI Delaware’s Director of Outreach and Community Engagement, shared exciting details about this year’s NAMIWalks, inspiring teams and individuals to get involved.

The kickoff energized participants to take action, form teams, and start fundraising to support NAMI Delaware’s mission of providing education, support, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by mental illness. At the end of the presentation, one of the attendees won a $50 gift certificate!

The 2025 NAMIWalks Delaware event is to happen on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Delaware Technical and Community College – Terry Campus. This annual event unites the community in raising awareness and funds for mental health programs and services.
